DOVER-FOXCROFT – Phyllis J. Chadbourne, 88, died peacefully Jan. 11, 2013, at home. She was born Oct. 17, 1924, in Skowhegan, the daughter of Stanley and Mertie (Foss) Rich.
She was a graduate of Madison High School, class of 1942. Phyllis spent several years in Bridgeport, Conn., working at Underwood Corp. On June 17, 1953, she married Leo Chadbourne.
She is survived by her husband; two sons, Mark and his wife, Beth, and Keith; two granddaughters, Amy Leland and her husband, Matthew, and Rachel Solomon and her husband, Jeremy; a sister, Beula Sprague and her husband, Bill; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents; and a sister, Regina Malbon and her husband, Abbot.
A graveside funeral service will be held in the family lot at Chadbourne Cemetery, Harmony, in the spring. (Bangor Daily News posted 1/11/2013)
