Rites Held For C.H. Smock, Former Miller Resident
Committal rites for Clarence H. Smock, 73, of Mitchell, were held at the G.A.R. cemetery Tuesday afternoon. The Rev. Cecil F. Miller officiated at the burial service. Mr. Smock died Friday in a Mitchell hospital.
A former resident of Miller, he had made his home in Mitchell for a number of years.
He is survived by one daughter, Mrs. M.J. Loghry, Mitchell; two sons, Duane, Mitchell and Virgil of Missoula, Mont., two sisters, Mrs. Ella Parsons, Sioux Falls and Mrs. Grace Bobb, Sioux Falls; three brothers, Ed of Austin Minn., Claude, Waucoma, IA., and O.P. Mach of Greenley, IA.
