She was a retired inspector with the Torrington Company and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
Survivors include two nieces; Helen Casalino and her husband, Larry, of Simsbury and Lillian Becchia of Torrington, a nephew; Emil Mierka of Canada and a great-nephew; Guy Casalino and his wife, Francine, of West Simsbury. Mrs. Janssen was predeceased by her sister, Helen Kelley, who died on Jan. 3, 2013.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, Jan. 12, at 2 p.m., at Gleeson-Ryan Funeral Home, 258 Prospect Street, Torrington. Burial will be held in Newfield Cemetery in the spring. Friends may call Saturday afternoon from 1 to 2 p.m.
At the request of the family, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Calvary Baptist Church, Book of Remembrance, 342 Prospect Street, Torrington, CT 06790.
