Mrs. Mildred Mae Shropshire, age 84, of Powder Springs, Georgia, former resident of Chattooga County, Georgia passed away Wednesday evening. A native of Aurora, MO., she was a daughter of the late Lloyd and Connie Marie Childers Forrester. Mrs. Shropshire was a retired nutritionist for Cobb County Schools and Baptist by Faith. She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Shropshire, a daughter, Rebecca Marie Penn, and sons-Julian Lloyd Shropshire and an infant son; Fourteen Siblings.

Surviving are daughter-Cathy Ritchey of Woodland Park, CO; son-Wesley Shropshire of Bluffton, S.C.; brother-Lawrence Forrest of Aurora, MO.; grandchildren-Trish Mardis, Nicole Brooks, Josh Ritchey, John Shropshire, Madison Shropshire, William Shropshire; seven Great Grandchildren; several Nieces and Nephews.

Funeral services were held Saturday, January 12th, at 1:00 P.M. from Graveside in the Family Plot of Summerville Cemetery with Dr. Kenneth Summey officiating.
