Obituary of Carole Ann Gauthier Metz

Gulfport, MS ~ Carole Ann Gauthier Metz, 68, of Gulfport, died Tuesday, January 8, 2013 in Gulfport.
She was born in Gulfport and was a lifelong resident of Handsboro. She was a graduate of Gulfport High School, Jeff Davis Community College, and the University of Southern Mississippi.
Mrs. Metz was a member of St. James Catholic Church. She was an avid reader, a collector of cookbooks and loved her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Allan G. Metz, Sr.
She is survived by two daughters, Karen Reese (David) of Cooksville, TN and Jodi Brown (Philip) of Gulfport; a son, Allan G. Metz, Jr. (Lisa) of Gulfport; eight grandchildren, Robert, Aaron, Gage, Zak, Emarie, Sean, Tyler, and Savannah.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, January 14, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at St. James Catholic Church, Gulfport with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Biloxi National Cemetery.
Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, 15th Street, Gulfport is in charge of arrangements.
