Nancy Irene (Voss) Bailey, 81, Martinsville, passed away at 9:25 p.m. on Friday, January 11, 2013 at Indiana University Health Morgan Hospital surrounded by her loving family.
She was born on Thursday, September 3, 1931 in Hollywood, Florida, to the late Parker Eugene and Nancy K. (Williams) Voss.
Nancy married James Glenn Bailey on June 21, 1948 and he passed away on December 2, 1999.
Nancy was a member of the Apostolic Faith Church. She had worked at RCA, J.J. Newberry's and Danner's 3-D. She retired after 10 years in 2011 from K-Mart in Martinsville where she was a sales clerk.
She is survived by sons, Jerry Glenn Bailey and wife Rose of Indianapolis, Steven Michael Bailey of Mooresville and William Todd Bailey and wife Sharon of Martinsville; daughters, Glenda Lynette Ray and husband Tom of Indianapolis, Karen Sue Davis of Martinsville and Diana Lynn Twomey and husband Bob of Martinsville; brothers, James Roy Voss and Donald Eugene Voss both of Florida; 11 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 11: 00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 15, 2013 at the Apostolic Faith Church, 474 West Highland Street, Martinsville, Indiana, 46151 with Rev. Patricia Cook officiating. Visitation will be at Costin Funeral Chapel on Monday, January 14, 2013 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and at the church one hour prior to the funeral service.
Burial will be at Samaria Cemetery at Paragon, Indiana.
