FORMER MCMINNVILLE MAN DIES AT EUGENE; RITES SCHEDULED HERE FRIDAY
Death came Tuesday to Carl Osborn Allen, 43, at Eugene and funeral services will be here Friday at 2 p.m. under the arrangements of Macy & Son.
He was born on Dec. 27, 1902, in South Dakota and in 1929 married Rosetta Smith at McMinnville. He had lived at Mapleton for seven years.
Interment will be at the Dayton IOOF cemetery. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Rosetta Allen; his mother, Mrs. Edith Allen of Kelso, Wash.; two sons, Donald and Jerry Allen of Dayton; two brothers, Wayne Allen of Portland and Floyd Allen of Spokane; and three sisters, Mrs. Irene Carter of Newberg, Mrs. Ophia Dye of Kelso and Mrs. Adelene McClhan of Medford.
