The funds were then invested by purchasing land in Pecos Valley, Chaves County, NM on 21 Sep 1916. Yet Cecil doesn't appear to be living with his grandparents in 1920 census.
After adulthood, Cecil, (1/32 Choctaw blood by his father, Levi), moved back to NM where he lived for 46 years.
