LAYTON - Betty Acker, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend, returned to her Lord and Savior on May 4, 2012.
She was born on December 31, 1929 in Dayton, Ohio and raised in Fairborn, Ohio.
She married Charles W. Acker on September 2, 1952 in Dayton, Ohio. He passed away on December 10, 1992.
Betty was a loving wife and mother of three children, daughter Linda (Dwight) Martin, and sons Michael Acker, who lived with her, and Leslie (Butch) Acker. She and Charles made many wonderful friends over the years. SSgt. Acker retired from the Air Force in 1967 and they moved to Utah.
She is survived by three grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, and her sister Mary Ashley.
She is preceded in death by her husband Charles and her son Butch.
