Funeral services were held at the residence, 615 Hackett street, Sunday afternoon at 2:30 for Mrs. Wilbur Vance, whose death occurred at the Community hospital Thursday evening following an operation. Rev. M. W. Duffey of the
Methodist church conducted the service. Bearers were ElDean McVeigh, Leon McVeigh, Don McVeigh, Ralph Vance, Grant Vance, and Louis Fox. Flowers were in charge of Miss Dorothy Larson and Miss Florence Williams. Interment at the family lot in the East Plains cemetery.
