He was a member of Amvets Post #136. Doug enjoyed NASCAR and was a big fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers. He also enjoyed watching wrestling and going fishing.
He worked for Penn Jersey Products, New Holland.
Surviving are his son, Joshua Allen Weber of Stevens, PA; a brother, Donald E. Weber, Jr. of Ephrata, PA; four sisters, Adrian M. Thompson of Stevens, PA, Christine M., wife of Stephen M. Bailey of Ephrata, PA, Rebecca E., wife of Eric D. Yorty of Jonestown, PA and Melissa A. Bair of Akron, PA. He is also survived by his step-mother, Elizabeth A. (Keylor) Weber of Ephrata, PA.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Alyce M. Weber.
Services will be held at 10:00 AM Wednesday, November 16, 2005 at the Stradling Funeral Home, 201 Church Avenue, Ephrata, with Rev. Steven Taylor officiating. Interment will follow in the Bergstrasse Lutheran Cemetery, Ephrata Township. A viewing will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday November 15th from 6 PM to 8 PM and also one hour prior to services on Wednesday.
