Norman Milton Beyer, 83, of Mexia, passed away on January 13, 2013 at the Mexia LTC center in Mexia. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, January 15, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Porter Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bill Wright, Sr. officiating. Interment will follow at Mexia Cemetery with full military honors.
Mr. Beyer was born on April 11, 1929 in Burnett, Texas to Otto N. & Olga Gersbach Beyer. He was a retired Major in the United States Air Force, serving in different capacities, most recently as an air traffic controller. He married Mary Katherine Davis Mitchell on April 11, 1999.
Norman was preceded in death by his first wife, Lelah and his parents.
Among survivors are his wife, Mary of Mexia; two step children; two sons-in-laws; three daughters; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild
