Allen W. Duffey, 43 years old of New Haven, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, January 12, 2013 in the Parkview Regional Medical Center located in Fort Wayne.
He was born on Friday, December 5, 1969 in Fort Wayne, Indiana the son of Richard and Marlene (Bultemeyer) Duffey.
Allen was honorably discharged from the Indiana Army National Guard.
He was a member of St. John Lutheran Church, Bingen and a former member of Ascension Lutheran Church in Fort Wayne, Martini Lutheran Church in New Haven and Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Fort Wayne.
Allen was a pre-fabrication welder.
Surviving are his parents, Richard & Marlene Duffey of Fort Wayne; sister, Dawn (Art) Norton of Fort Wayne; niece, Nicole Norton of Fort Wayne; and many aunts, uncles & cousins.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, January 17, 2013 in the St. John Lutheran Church, Bingen with Rev. Peter Brock officiating. Interment will follow in the St. John Lutheran Cemetery, Bingen.
Friends will be received from 4 to 7 p.m., Wednesday, January 16 in the Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home, Decatur and one hour prior to the service at the church on Thursday.
Preferred memorials are to St. John Lutheran Church Cemetery Fund, Parkview Hospice or the donor's choice.
