Tina Louise Bynum

Mrs. Tina Louise Bynum, age 22, of Parsons died early Wednesday in the University of Kansas Medical Center in Kansas City, Kan. She was admitted there late Tuesday. Death was attributed to pneumonia.

She was the wife of R. Alan Bynum. The home is at 1310 S 11th. Mrs. Bynum was a native of Parsons born on Feb. 21, 1959 to Mr. and Mrs. Felix Fuentez. Her mother was the former Mary Frances Myers.

In her infancy the family moved to Chicago where they lived for three years. They then moved to Kansas City where they lived for about 10 years before returning to Parsons nine years ago. She was graduated from Parsons High School in 1977 and was employed by the city of Parsons in municipal offices.

She and Bynum were married on June 30, 1979 in St. Mary's Catholic Church here. Mrs. Bynum had been employed in the produce department at Greaves NuWay Grocery for from two to three years but had not been employed for about the last year. Her husband is employed at Greaves NuWay.

In addition to her husband of the home, survivors include the parents, Mr. and Mrs. Felix Fuentez, 1105 S 25th, three brothers Joe Fuentez, 3307 Pefley, Robert and Tony Fuentez both of 1105 S 25th, three sisters, Mrs. Mitch (Nancy) Bushnell, 3402 Grand, Cindy Fuentez and Teresa Fuentez both of 1105 S 25th and a grandfather, Aristeo Fuentez, 1920 Clark.

She was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Christina M. Bynum on Oct. 3 1980 and by three grandparents.

Requiem mass for Mrs. Bynum will be offered at 10 a m Saturday at St Mary's Church of which she was member. Father Francis Cox will be the celebrant of the mass. Burial will be in West Bethany Cemetery north of Parsons. A rosary will be said at 7 pm Friday at the Burris-Carson-Wall Funeral Home Friends may call at the funeral home after 9 am Friday.
