My Grandma Ruth was the daughter of Charles Oscar Jones and Ludia Evelyn Stout. Mother of Carolyn, Richard and James Demmitt. She loved flowers and cats. She kept a scrapbook of actors and actresses, and would usually cut out their picture and death date from newspapers. She used to tell stories of picking strawberries as a young girl living in Arkansas. She married and divorced Daniel Richard Demmitt and Marvin Lemoine Rickard. She lived a hard life, but tried to make the best of things. She was a dear, sweet lady, and I miss her terribly.
