ROSSVILLE, GA - Mildred Opal Coleman Burnett, 84, went home to be with her Lord on Sunday, January 13, 2013.
She has been a resident of Rossville, GA since 1951 and was a member of Oakwood Baptist Church, Gateway Campus.
Mildred was a loving mother, grandmother and sister who will be greatly missed.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Willard Burnett; parents, Atticus Ray and Lola Williams Coleman; and brother, William Coleman.
Mildred is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Dwayne and Ann Burnett, of Chattanooga, TN and David and Leslie Burnett, of Birchwood, TN; sister Berthel Moses, of Pisgah, AL; grandchildren, Adam, Christian and Canaan; great-grandchild, Molly; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, January 16, 2013 in the funeral home chapel, with Rev. Leroy Wilson Officiating.
Interment will follow at Tennessee-Georgia Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. today and prior to the service on Wednesday.
