Last Monday morning occurred the death of Geo. Abram, brother of John Abram of this city, death being due to bladder trouble. Mr. Abram was born in Barton, Oxfordshire, England in September, 1846. In 1865 he came to the United States and settled in Buffalo, New York, where he lived until May 1916, when he came to live with his brother. For 51 years he was a florist connected with the botanical garden of Buffalo. He was noted for his chrysanthemums, having more than a hundred varieties. He is survived by a brother, John, and a sister, Mrs. Ann Smith, both of State Center. Other relatives are two nieces Elizabeth Parson and Bertha Sergeant and four nephews, Geo., John and Jesse Parsons, and Walter 0. Abram. Funeral services were held at the Abram home yesterday conducted by Rev. Morrow.
