Funeral services were conducted Saturday at Higgins Funeral Home for Ed Taylor of Roure 1, Morton Drive, Fayetteville, who died Thursday (November 14, 1991) at Lincoln Regional Hospital after a long illness. He was 74.

Eugene Peden officiated and burial was in Riverview Memorial Gardens.

A native of Lincoln County, he was the son of the late Francis Young and Minnie Ann Crabtree Taylor. He was a veteran of World War II and was former superintendent of Avalon Dairies. Mr. Taylor was a member of the Washington Stree Church of Christ.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Lela Clark Taylor of Fayetteville; a daughter, Ann Leftwich of Fayetteville; a sister, Hilda Sykes of Fayetteville; three brothers, Knox Taylor of Flintville, Roy Taylor of Louisville, Kentucky, and Toss Taylor of Nashville; and two grandchildren.
