The deceased was born in Germany in 1843 and came to America with her parents in 1855, the family settling in the town of Schleswig, Manitowoc County. Her husband came to Brillion with the family in 1904.
Surviving her are six sons and four daughters. The sons are August of No. Milwaukee, Rudolph of Brillion, Otto of School Hill, Lewis and Theodore of Lena, Wis., and Frank of Portland, Oregon. The daughters are Mrs. Amelia Morgan of Pasadena, Cal., Mrs. Anna Jooss, Brillion, Mrs. Lena Streblow of Oconto Falls and Mrs. Elsie Hein of Sobieski, Wis. One brother, William Loos resides at Elkhart Lake and a sister, Mrs. D. Gessenheimer lives at Sheboygan.
The funeral took place last Wednesday, services being conducted at the Lutheran church, Rev. M. Sauer officiating. Pallbearers were six sons with the exception of Frank who was unable to come and John Jooss acted as pall bearer in his stead.
