H. N. Abraham, a well known colored citizen of the Lawtey section, called at the Telegraph office Tuesday and asked for the privilege of making a contribution to the Kingsley Lake road fund. He uses the road occasionally during the grape season, and felt that he would like to contribute toward keeping it up. He left his check for $15 to be added to the fund. Abraham is probably the first colored man in Bradford county to make a voluntarily contribution toward the up-keep of a public road.
