Albert Deaton, age 79 years, 2 months, 25 days, of Mussey Township, passed away unexpectedly Sunday January 13, 2013 at home. He was born October 19, 1933 in Canton, Kentucky, the son of Nelson and Sally (Nobel) Deaton. His marriage to Lola Faye Spencer was August 7, 1957.

Albert was employed by General Motors Corporation, Pontiac, for 29 years until his retirement in 1996.

He enjoyed yard work and planting gardens.

Surviving in addition to his wife Lola of 55 years are:

……Randy Deaton of Emmett Township,
……Paula and Leo Wittstock of Emmett Township and
……Steve and Christine Deaton of Kimball;
…six grandchildren,
…four great grandchildren;
…brother, Johnnie Deaton of Ohio and
…several nieces, nephews and friends.

He was preceded in death by:
…siblings: Wanda, Todd, Ed and Reciel.

Visitation for family and friends of Albert were held Thursday, January 24, 2013, 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Kaatz Funeral Directors, Capac.

Funeral services were conducted 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 25, 2013, with 10:00 a.m. visiting. Rev. Lisa Clark, pastor of Capac Methodist Churches, will officiate.

Burial followed in West Berlin Cemetery, Allenton.
