Stockman Of Dexter Dies Sunday.
Dexter. - Blaine J. Adams of rural Dexter, died unexpectedly following an apparent heart attack at 12 p.m. Sunday at his home.
A farmer and stockman all his life except two years when he worked in the Kaiser shipyards at Portland, Ore. Adams had dealt in and bred quarter horses and Herefords. In early yeasrs he was a mule buyer.
Born March 8, 1889, in Sedgwick county, he was the son of James and Bessis Adams. He was married to Alice Lewis in 1912. She survives. Adams was a member of the Masonic Lodge of Dexter.
Survivors include one son, Ralph Adams, Camden, Ark., four daughters, Mrs. Marie Crow, Dexter, Mrs. Vera Grillo, Santa Monica, Calif., Mrs. Rosalie Allison, Springfield, Va., and Mrs. Reta Earhart, Portland, Ore., 14 grandchildren and one sister, Mrs. Mina Stilliman, Greenview, Utah, four sisters preceded him in death.
Funeral services will be held in the Dexter School Auditorium, Wednesday at 10 a.m. under the direction of the Miles Mortuary of Burden.
