Age 78 of Brooks, returned to her Heavenly Father, Saturday, June 5, 2010. She was a devoted mother. She was preceded in death by her parents; Omer H. & Josephine (Rocky) Alexander and she leaves to cherish her memory; her sons. Stanley (Donna) Mattingly, Keith Mattingly, Kevin Mattingly; daughters, Marsha Mattingly, & Brenda Mattingly (Wayne Cox); grandchildren, Karen, Les, Doug, Jason, Missy, Shawn & Tara; great grandchildren, Andrew, Jacob, James, Krissy, Lucas, Logan, Michael, Matthew, Hayley, Hailey, Josh, Scott & McKenzie; great great grandchildren, Emma & Mya and a host of other relatives, family members & friends. Visitation for Mrs. Mattingly will be 12-8 Monday, June 7,2010 at schoppenhorst Underwood & Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Highway at Brooks Road) where funeral services will be conducted at Noon on Tuesday. Interment is to be in Mount Washington Cemetery. Pall-bearers; Jason Mattingly, Shawn Mattingly, Les Clark, Andrew Stevens, Jacob Stevens & James Stevens.
