WARE SHOALS - Helen Vivian Mitchell Riddle, 90, widow of Marvin Ross Riddle, of 5286 Poplar Springs Road, died January 16, 2013, at her home. Born in Laurens County, she was a daughter of the late James Franklin and Hallie Elizabeth Culbertson Mitchell. She was a lifelong member of Poplar Springs Baptist Church where she was also a member of the WMU and the Bible Book-Naomi Sunday School class. She was retired from Tavern Sportswear as a seamstress. Surviving are a daughter, Vivian Creswell and husband Marty of Bradley; a sister, Weldon Jordan of Pelzer; a grandchild, Dixie Rae Nicastro and husband Michael of the home; and many other loving family members. Burial in the Poplar Springs Baptist church cemetery.
