The recent passing of that loving old couple, Colonel W.B. Pettit and his wife at their home, Glen Burnie, in Fluvanna County, VA, was almost as beautiful as their life together. On the 141th of February the remains of Colonel W.B .Pettit were reverently laid to rest. Colonel and Mrs. Pettit hare survived by seven children: Pembroke Pettit of Fluvanna; Mrs. N.C. Harris of Fredericks Hall, VA; Dr. W. B. Pettit of New Canton, VA; Miss Vera Arabella Pettit of Fluvanna; Mr. Leonard Overton Pettit of Big Stone Gap, VA; Mr. Paul Pettit of Fluvanna; and Mrs. W. P.
