He was a son of the late William M. Frew and Laura Tolf Frew.
Mr. Frew was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church of Monessen and the Monessen Lodge 638 F&AM. He was a veteran of World War II, having served with the 3rd Armored Infantry of the U.S. Army. Mr. Frew had retired from Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel in the Blooming Mill.
He is survived by one daughter, Cheryl DeVore of Monongahela; one son, Dennis H. Frew of Hanover; three grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and one brother, Robert Frew of Baltimore, MD.
