Geneva Abbott Andrews passed away Saturday, February 28, 2004 at Retama Nursing Home in McAllen, Texas. She was 86 years old.
Geneva was born February 24, 1918 in Oolagah, Oklahoma to Lafayette Abbott and Jessie Mae (Jones) Abbott. She attended elementary school in Blackwell, Oklahoma and graduated from Blackwell High School. She received a Bachelor of Science Degree from Oklahoma A&M College, and two Master of Science Degrees, on from Oklahoma A&M College and one from the University of Southern California. Geneva was a retired teacher, principal and College Professor of Education at Bradley University in Peoria, Illinois.
Geneva was a member of the South Grand Lake Christian Church of Langley, Oklahoma Geneva was united in marriage to Robert Elton Andrews. He preceded her in death on April 29, 2003.
