Mr. Aderholt had lived in Marietta since 1973. He served his country through combat tours in WWII as a P51 fighter pilot, in Korea as a fighter reconnaissance pilot, and two tours in Vietnam as an Air Commando. He retired from the USAF in 1972 as a Lt. Colonel. Mr. Aderholt was employed by the Georgia Department of Defense from July 1975 until retirement in March 1986.
He was a beloved husband, father, and grandfather. Mr. Aderholt is survived by his wife, Bunny, two sons, Tom and Robert, daughter in law Carolyn, grandchildren Matthew and Christen, and nieces and nephews.
