Mrs. Jessie Avarine Hughes Manning, 91, of New Market passed away Friday. She was preceded in death by her husband: Henry W. Manning; her parents: James Robert and Leona Hughes and her brother: Monroe Hughes. Survivors include her daughter: Nancy Cagle and husband: Glenn of Meridianville; her son: Jack Manning and wife: Madelyn of Meridianville; one brother: McClain Hughes of New Market; four sisters: Loyce Esslinger, Joyce Peek and Nelda Laney, all of Huntsville and Reba Rosebrough of Carey, NC; four grandchildren: Matt Cagle, Amanda Smith, Josh Manning and Zack Manning; five great-grandchildren: Dylan Cagle, Nathaniel and Jack Henry Smith, Josie and Bristol Manning and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Berryhill Funeral Home with a graveside service at 12:30 p.m. at Taylor Cemetery with Dillard Laney officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a favorite charity.
