JOHN REINERT DIES AT HEWITT TODAY
Succumbs to Lingering Illness; Will Hold Funeral Wednesday
John Reinert, 67, a resident of Hewitt for nearly half a century, died at 4 a.m. today at his home after a lingering illness.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday morning at 9 o'clock at St. Michael's Catholic church with the Rev. Louis Brudermann officiating. Burial will take place in the parish cemetery.
Mr. Reinert was born in Hausbach, Germany, March 17, 1869. As a young man he emigrated to the United States, locating at Hewitt where on May 4, 1898, he was married to Miss Barbara Hornick. At one time he resided for a year on a farm one mile from Hewitt.
Surviving are his widow and four children: Mrs. Frank (Dorothy) Irlbock and Mrs. Lawrence (Hildegard) Rossey, both of Weyauwega; Mrs. I. L. Anna Seidl, Hewitt; and John J. Reinert, Milwaukee. One son died in infancy.
A sister in Germany and 10 grandchildren also survive.
Mr. Reinert was a member of the Holy Name society of St. Michael's church.
