JOSEPH E. LEVY II, 77, of Hot Springs, Ark., formerly of Memphis, retired Navy lieutenant commander, died of cancer Sunday at St. Joseph's Regional Health Center. Gross Funeral Home in Hot Springs has charge. He was a World War II Navy veteran, member of the Hot Springs Rotary Club, and was co-founder of the Hot Springs Convention Bureau. Mr. Levy, the husband of Carol Saks Levy, also leaves a son, Joseph E. 'Woody' Levy III of Bradenton, Fla., and two grandchildren. (Published in The Commercial Appeal, Memphis, TN, on May 18, 1999)
