SAN ANGELO — Susan N. Barnett, 72, of San Angelo, died Monday, Jan. 14, 2013, at her residence.
Service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Jan. 21, in Johnson's Funeral Home chapel with Rev. J.T. Tucker officiating. Burial will follow in Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens.
Susan was born July 30, 1940, in England. She was a resident of San Angelo since 1965. She worked for Monarch Tile, Barry's of San Angelo and at San Angelo Community Medical Center.
Susan was married to Charles Ray Barnett in September of 1967 in San Angelo. He preceded her in death on July 3, 1997.
She was also preceded in death by her mother, Barbara Nell Cox and her mother-in-law, Ollie Ozell Barnett.
Survivors include sons Stephen Lowell Blue and wife Melissa of San Jose, Calif. and Jimmy Ray Barnett of Victorville, Calif.; daughters Sharon Kay Barnett of San Angelo, Karen Pyle and husband Ron of Keller and Diana Sue Nelson and husband Johnny of Farmington, N.M.; great-grandchildren Jason, Tosha, Trevor, Joshua, Amanda, Zackery, Alexandra, Charlotte and Enzo; great-great-grandchildren Emma, Isabella, Xander, Meckienze and Blake Charles; and her best friends, Irene Lopez and husband, Anne Jones and Tena Wilson.
Pallbearers will be Trevor Bonner, Ton Pyle, Winn Palmer, Matthew Bird, Jason Webb, and Louis Taylor. Honorary pallbearers will be Blake Charles Lee Bonner, Christopher Rutledge, Joshua Bonner, Jimmy Ray Barnett, Enzo Blue, Zackery Barnett, J.R. Berreckman, Xander Sasin, John and Kevin Jones.
