STRATTON.--Elizabeth P. Stratton, wife of the Rev. Mr. Stratton, a Local Preacher and member of the Methodist Episcopal church at West Farms, New York city, died at her home, in West Farms, on Saturday, December 1, 1894, aged seventy years. She was a member of the Methodist Episcopal church for over fifty years, and during all that time proved herself to be a true and loyal soldier of the cross. She loved God with all her heart and served Him with a full purpose. She also loved God's word, and rejoiced to hear of souls being converted to God. Her last words were: "I hope to meet you all in heaven." May she not be disappointed!
