WAS A FORMER RESIDENT OF LEXINGTON IS SURVIVED BY HUSBAND, FOUR CHILDREN

Mrs. Beulah May Adams, wife of Ora Adams, died at her home in Pekin, Monday, February 2, 1925, following a brief illness caused by heart disease.
Mrs. Adams was the daughter of Emory and Ella Dawson Campbell and was born in Lexington, May 13, 1885. She first married Mr. Harry Shipley, who is now deceased. In November, 1906 she married Ora Adams, who, with four children, survives. They are Karl H. Shipley, of Denver Col., Dorothy, Robert and Lawrence Adams, of Pekin. She is also survived by her mother, Mrs. Ella Jeffries, and one brother, R. E. Campbell, both of Denver, Col.
Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at three o'clock from the Kuecks funeral home, of Pekin. The body was then brought to Lexington and funeral services will be held this (Thursday) afternoon, at one o'clock, from the United Brethren church. Rev. Wm. A. Askew, pastor of the Christian church, will officiate, assisted by Rev. J. Guy Jordan, of the U. B. church. A quartet composed of Revs. L. F. Zinser, Wm. A. Askew and Messrs. L. J. Grimsley and Joseph Leach will sing. Interment will be made in the Lexington cemetery.
Mrs. Jeffries and Karl Shipley, of Denver, came to Lexington for the funeral services.
