Eugene Edward, 14, only son of Mr. & Mrs. Harry Rost, 313 Maple Street, Kingsford,
died at 2:30 p.m. this afternoon from injuries suffered shortly before noon when he
was struck by an automobile, on Breen Avenue, driven by Forest Davis, while riding
his bicycle home, for his noon meal, from Kingsford High School.
Eugene was critically injured, suffering fractures of the skull, left arm & leg, crushed
left foot & severe cuts & bruises about his body. His bicycle was wrecked.
Davis, who is slightly crippled, had his driver's license revoked but was not charged
for the accident. Burial was in Cemetery Park.
