Mrs. Emma Abernathy Walkup, aged 52 years, wife of Robert Walkup, died Friday at her home, 1918 Ninth avenue, north. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Walkup is survived by her children: Mrs. Pearl Boryd [Boyte], Mrs. Walter Nipper, Mrs. A. A. Abernathy, Misses Martha, Blanche and Lois, Felix and Andrew Walkup. Funeral services will be held at the residence at 2 o'clock this afternoon conducted by the Rev. Micah Combs. The burial will be at the Wheeler burying ground.
