William Albert was the first of five children born to James Thomas "Jim Tom" Aaron and Sarah Lucinda Whitlock Aaron.

He married Love Idella "Lovie" Brown, January 10, 1909, and fathered Leslie Pearl Aaron, Borden Clemmons Aaron, and Wesley Olan Aaron.

October 3, 1917, he married Irene Mahalie Kennedy Bruton. They had two daughters, Hazel LaVelle Aaron and Billye LaVerne Aaron.

He was a chef throughout his life and was said to make Coconut Cream Pies that were "out of this world."
