Shullsburg- Funeral services for Mrs. Elizabeth Peters, 85, pioneer resident here who died Friday, were held Sunday afternoon with the Rev. S.J. Lambright officiating. Burial was in Evergreen cemetery.
The daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Tregonning. Mrs. Peters was born in Shullsburg and was married to John Peters. They made their home in Armour, S.D. until the death of her husband. She returned to Shullsburg in 1915 and has lived here since.
Surviving are a sister, Prudence Tregonning, Shullsburg, and two brothers, John, South Wayne, and Nicholas Tregonning, Shullsburg.
