Mary Nell "Molly" Butler, 83, of Tyler, formerly of Big Spring, died Sunday, January 20, 2013, in a Tyler hospital. Graveside funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, January 24, 2013 at the Peace Chapel at Trinity Memorial Park with Chaplain Rick Foster, officiating.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Wednesday, January 23, 2013, at the funeral home.

She was born June 24, 1929, in Houston, Texas and married Dr. Lee Butler April 28, 1950 in Houston. He preceded her in death February 20, 1997.

Molly was a Registered Nurse and had worked as the Director of Nursing at Big Spring State Hospital. She was a member of Hampton Road Baptist Church, Desoto, Texas.

Survivors include two sons, Tommy Butler and wife, Vickie of Whitehouse and Terry Butler and wife, Wanda of Frisco; one daughter, Janie Strader of Houston; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

The family suggests memorials be made to Hampton Road Baptist Church, Missionary Fund, 400 North Hampton Road, Desoto, Texas 75115.
