Donald Howard Hensley, 63, of Leeton, passed away Sunday, Jan. 20, 2013, at Research Medical Center in Kansas City.
Don was born Sept. 19, 1949, in Harriman, Tenn., son of William D. and Florence D. (Grace) Hensley.
He was raised in Cincinnati, Ohio.
He was a drill sergeant in the U. S. Army, having served in Germany, Georgia, Tennessee and Kentucky. Don's final assignment was Wentworth Military Academy in Lexington, where he retired from in 1997.
He enjoyed working with stained glass, painting, fishing and golf.
He was preceded in death by both of his parents, four brothers and three sisters.
