County Woman Dies Thursday--Mrs. W.G. Dudney Succumbs After Long Illness--Mrs. W.G. Dudney, 73, Hempstead County native, died at her home on Hope route 4 about 4 o'clock Thursday morning after a long illneww.
She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. O.C. Jarvis of Hope Route 4, Mrs. J.L. Anderson of Hope Route 2, four sons, K.G. Dudney of Fulton, Sandifer Dudney of Washington, Fred Barr of Amarillo, Texas; two grandsons, Paul Dudney of Washington and Sam Dudney of Kilgore, Texas.
Funeral services have not bee complete, pending the arrival of relatives. (Hope Star, Hope, Arkansas, Thu, Sep. 25, 1941, page 1) Note: She and William Green Dudney raised grandsons Paul and Sam as well as a granddaughter Ollie McKNIGHT Mathis.
