Gratiot- Mrs. W.H. (Agnes) Ayers, age 88, of Gratiot, died on Sunday, Nov. 23, 1980 at a Darlington hospital after a long illness. The former Agnes Cassidy was born on March 28, 1892 and spent most of her life in the Gratiot area. She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Gratiot and the Alter Sodality.
Survivors include three sons, Willard (Bill) of Dodgeville, and Ray and Gordon both of Ridgeway; 13 grandchildren; and four great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, William; two daughters, an infant son and an infant granddaughter.
Funeral services will be held at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Gratiot. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
