He was born March 2, 1923, in St. Albans, the son of John E. and Rose (Audette) Daignault.
He graduated from St. Mary's High School in Claremont, N.H., class of 1941.
Mr. Daignault served with the U.S. Marine Corps during World War II in the Pacific Theater.
He married Katherine H. Smith of Windsor on Dec. 27, 1945.
He was employed at Cone Automatic Machine Co. for 33 years as an accountant before retiring in 1985. He was a real estate broker for many years operating JAD Realty.
Mr. Daignault also served as a Windsor town lister, member of the budget committee, and for 25 years, served as a justice of the peace.
He was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Parish in Windsor, serving as treasurer of the church and the St. Francis Credit Union for over 18 years.
He was a member of the John P. Larkin Country Club in Windsor and enjoyed computers and gardening.
Survivors include his wife of Windsor; a son, John Daignault of Miami Beach, Fla.; a daughter, Lisa Perera of Quechee; a sister, Lucille Descoteau of Enfield, N.H.; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Daignault was predeceased by a brother, Robert Daignault, in 1975.
