Wisconsin Rapids Daily Tribune----Monday, 8 Feb 1954----Mrs. Natwick, 89 Succumbs----Mrs. Henrietta Lyon Natwick, 89, a lifelong resident of Wis. Rapids, died at 10 o'clock this morning at Wood County Infirmary of the complications of old age. She had entered the home on Feb. 26, 1953. Funeral services will be conducted at 3 o'clock Thursday afternoon in the First Congregational Church with Rev. Robert W. Kingdon. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the Baker Mortuary after Wed. noon. Mrs. Natwick was born in Centralia on Feb. 21, 1864, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Reuben C. Lyon, pioneer settlers here and was the last of a family of seven, three girls and four boys. She married James W. Natwick here on June 23, 1886. He preceded her in death on July 16, 1951. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. A.J. Dewey, Chicago and Mrs. Curtis Urnes, Madison; six sons, Frank J. Vista, CA, Donald L. Forest Hills, NY, John W. Hamilton, Ohio, Myron H. Los Angeles CA, Albert G, Beaumont, Texas and Vernon, Vancouver, WA; 17 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren. Mrs. Natwick was a longtime member of the First Congregational Church, held membership in the local chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution and was a charter member of the Entre Nous Club. Lyon Park was presented to the city by the Lyon Land Co. in which she was a partner with her brothers.
