Keith Felix DeWitt passed away on January 18, 2013 at the Iowa Veterans Home in Marshalltown.

Keith was born in Manning , Iowa, on October 31, 1948 to Richard and Mona (Greteman) DeWitt. He graduated high school at Audubon High School in 1967.

Keith served his country proudly in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War. He was a member of the Paralyzed Veterans of America.

Keith retired after over 21 years of dedicated service to the Wittern Group as a welder.

Those left to mourn Keith's passing are his wife, Julie; his son, Brandon (Annalisa) DeWitt; his daughter, Samantha (William) Wears; his four grandchildren, Isabella, Olyvia, Ava and Aubrey; his mother, Mona Rein; his mother and father-in-law Phyllis and Dale Petersen; and numerous other loving family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father Richard DeWitt, his grandparents, Felix & Rose Greteman his aunt, Eleanor Greteman and his step father Milton Rein.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 23, 2013 at Hamilton's Southtown Funeral Home, 5400 SW 9th Street. Family will greet friends starting at noon on Wednesday at the funeral home. He will be laid to rest at a later date at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Templeton, Iowa.
