Mrs. Evelyn Jordan Anthony age 85 of Centre, passed away Sunday, January 20, 2013 at Cherokee Health and Rehab. Graveside service will be held Monday at 1 P.M. at Providence Cemetery Highway with Rev. William Cain officiating. Pallbearers include nephews and grandsons. Survivors include daughter, Brenda (George) Holloway of Centre; sisters, Charlene Hester of Centre, and Phyllis Young of Centre; grandchildren, Bill (Angie) Holloway of Alexandria, AL, Paula (Jason) Tucker of Section, AL, Rick (Jenny) Holloway of Weaver, AL; great-grandchildren Lexie (Craig Farrar) Tucker, Addie Bell Tucker, Katlyn, Avery, Wyatt, Rihanna, Regan Holloway and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Anthony was a native of Cherokee County, the daughter of the late Jeff J. and Jewel Evelyn Ledbetter Jordan. She was a member of Sandy Creek Baptist Church.
