She was predeceased by her husband James Smith, brother's Leon, Wiley, Dewey and Irvin Barwick, sister Louise Merritt, Nephew Robert Merritt, Great Nephew John Spillane.
Ruth is survived by her sister Margaret B. Moulton of Groveland; 7 nieces; a nephew; six great nieces; nine great nephews; two great-great nieces and nine great-great nephews.
Funeral service will be 10:30AM Wednesday, May 28, 2008 at Brewer and Sons Funeral Home/Groveland Chapel.
