HARLINGEN, Texas - Maria Concepcion Aguirre, of Harlingen, TX went on to glory on January 17, 2013 at approximately 11 AM. In spite of what anyone would have considered insurmountable odds, her life's work was the raising and loving unconditionally of her four children, their families and her eight grandchildren.

She is survived by her daughter Maria Elena and husband David Hicks, Brett and Whitney children, daughter Anita Aguirre, daughter Martina Bena-videz, and husband Rudy, Rudy, Jr. and Hannah, grandchildren and son Antonio Aguirre, Jr., his beautiful wife Melissa, and Isabella, Mia, Abigail, Lily grandchildren. Her next greatest love was for her brothers and sisters, some of whom have gone before her, and some whom continue with us her sisters: Aurora Tafolla and Natalia Luna, and her brother, Felix Martinez Luna and their families.

We love you mamita.

Services as follows: Friday January 18, 2013 12 noon viewing at Trinity Funeral Home, 1002 East Harrison Ave. Harlingen, TX, 7:00 PM Rosary. Saturday January 19, 2013, 10:00 AM Mass at St. Anthony Catholic Church, Harlingen, TX, followed by burial at Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, La Feria.

Arrangements are under the direction of Trinity at Harrison Funeral Home.
