Fred J. Parker, 61, of London, AR, passed away on Monday, January 21, 2013 at Arkansas Heart Hospital in Little Rock, AR.

The son of Joe Bill and Violet Jewel Burdine Parker, he was born July 13, 1951 in London, AR.

He married Cathy J. Parker, on April 17, 1971 in Lamar. He attended Russellville First Assembly of God Church. Fred was a lifelong rancher with a true appreciation of the outdoors. If he was not working you could find him roping, fox hunting, fishing or riding his horse Grey. Fred always held a special place in his heart for his girls.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother in law, Thomas Miller.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Cathy Parker of London; one daughter, Kimberley Parker of London; two granddaughters, Macy McCain and Hope Parker both of London; four sisters, Billie Anne Hatchett & husband Kenneth of Clarksville, Barbara Jo Miller of Dardanelle, Elizebeth Frankel & husband Marshall of Tarzana, CA, and Treva Gray of London; one brother, Rick Parker & wife Betty of London and many loving nieces and nephews and friends.

Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, January 24, 2013 at Humphrey Chapel. Ronnie Birge and Ronnie Morris will officiate. Burial will be at East Point Cemetery in Russellville, AR by Humphrey Funeral Service. Visitation will be at 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, on Wednesday, at the Funeral home.
