Mrs. Frances M. Bishop
Mrs. Frances Moon Bishop, life-long resident of Greenville county, died at 5:45 o'clock yesterday morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. W.R. Davis, in the Berea community, following an illness of one years duration.
Mrs. Bishop had reached the age of 83 years. She was reared in the Sandy Flat section, where she lived until the death of her husband, the late W. M. Bishop, 13 years ago, when she went to make her home with the family of her daughter.
She was a member of the Enoree Baptist church.
In addition to her daughter, Mrs. W.R. Davis, Mrs. Bishop is survived by one son, Walter A. Bishop of Spartanburg, and by one sister, Mrs. Martha Campbell of Greenville.She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, and 21 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services for Mrs. Bishop will be held this afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the Berea Baptist church,conducted by the Rev. Percy H. Hughes, and the interment will be made in the family plot in the cemetery of the Enoree Baptist church.
Serving as the pallbearers will be Walter Gibson, J.L. Smith, Thornton Keller, Allen Keller, Alonzo Jones and Fred Taft.
Pending the hour of the service, the body will be at the residence of Mrs. Davis.
